55+ Course (5.5 hours)

Built on our standard adult curriculum but specifically geared towards riders 55 and up, this course combines classroom, parking lot, and on-road training. It is intended to build the skills and confidence of beginner or returning riders, aged 55 and up, to make cycling fun and safe. The course includes an overview of traffic rules, cyclist rights and responsibilities, and more. Next, participants develop bike handling skills through a parking lot skills development session. The course ends with a 5-6km group ride, putting theory into practice in a fun and practical manner.

*Please note that due to COVID course may be offered in a hybrid format (online classroom portion) which may affect course duration until at least September 2021.
