Between October 5th and November 12th our bike skills instructors were busy teaching bike skills workshops to kids in grades 4 and 5.We taught a total of 1,122 students in 51 classes at 11 different schools. These “Everyone Rides” courses consisted of in-class sessions teaching ABC quick checks, bike anatomy, and safe riding, followed by a fun on-bike portion giving kids the skills they need to ride to school or around their neighbourhood. We taught kids of all skill levels: from experienced mountain bikers to students who had never ridden a bike before. Thanks to our friends at HUB Cycling for making it possible for us to run this pilot project!
