Our LAST ride of the summer series is ready for your late-August riding pleasures! We are very excited to be releasing this Hillside/Quadra Discovery Ride for you filled with lots of local gems that highlight the diversity and beauty of this neighbourhood.
We hope that you explore this Discovery Ride by bicycled during the Out there Arts Festival, happening from August 29th to September 7th, 2020! You won’t want to miss this unique opportunity to ride through the Hillside/Quadra neighbourhoods as they come alive with vibrant community art and bicycles for this 10-day event.

To WIN prizes for participating in this neighbourhood discovery ride. Send us your photos, stories and videos telling us about your ride between August 20th to September 3rd, 2020 in the form at the bottom of this page. Prize submissions will be due September 3rd. This is the last ride of the summer ride series. However, a new themed series will be released during Go by Bike Week – Sept. 28 – Oct. 4, 2020. So stay tuned for more fun!

Step 1:
Explore the clues. Download the PDF document with ‘points of interest’ on your phone.
Step 2:
Get the route. Open the route in Google Maps on your phone to view the pins with suggested ‘points of interest’ locations.
Step 3:
Ride the route! Explore the clues outlined in the ride’s PDF document within the neighbourhood. Use the pinned clues on the Google Map as your guide.
Step 4:
Take a photo, story or video at a ‘point of interest’ on your ride and tag us on Facebook or Instagram @biketoworkvic, on Twitter @gvcc or just tag #yyjbike! In this photo, story, or video, tell us about your experience, or something you discovered, on your Scavenger Hunt.
Step 5:
Come back to this page and tell us about your ride! Complete the ride experience form at the bottom of this page to rate the ride and tell us what you enjoyed about it!
With every submission, you will be entered into a draw for a chance to win a gift card for take-out food from a local restaurant or bike shop near you.
