Find your way around by bicycle

Choose from the dropdown menu to look at Regional Maps or switch to popular Route Suggestions.

The items and legends panels let you turn elements of the map on or off, and can help you find locations for water, air, and on the route suggestions can help you find places for a bite or drink mid-route, etc.

Notes:
This map is intended to simplify the local route network. It sits roughly between OSMCycle (fairly complex) and Google Maps (not enough detail). And we believe it is the most up-to-date map of the CRD's cycling infrastructure. However - the logic is simple: blue is either a AAA or low/no-traffic route, and red are painted bike lanes. For example: a couple of the blue routes are gravel and not technically AAA, though they are usable commuter trails devoid of a vehicles - for stronger cyclists. With a few exceptions, most quiet streets are not included as they're generally self-evident.
