The culture, the climate, the lack of big hills… and a fantastic, safe & growing cycling network. The rest of the world is starting to notice as well! Our little town was the focus of a recent video by Oh the Urbanity – an urban-living and mobility channel.
Capital Bike’s own Corey Burger features prominently among other local notables, speaking to the data the CRD and cities have collected about cycling network usage.
We’re just chuffed to see the Victoria area get some recognition for the amazing improvements our municipalities have made to their cycling networks over the last decade. Even if we still have quite a ways to go to ensure all children can ride safely to school, we are well on our way!
